Jason is well known within the art world for his fantastic textured original abstract paintings.

The process involves crushing Oyster Shells to a fine flake like texture and mixing with Gesso and Glues. This paste is then layered onto the 38mm deep stretched canvas and sides. Colour washes are added at different stages giving a depth and multiple colour layers.

Jason's paintings are hard to the touch. He feels that his work bridges a gap between the work of paintings and sculpture.
